養護介護施設 Nursing home for the eldery

 

老人介護施設に前回訪れたのが３ヶ月前、また同じ笑顔に会えてとても嬉しかったです。昨年のクリスマス会では、私が訳した日本語の童謡が歌われ、今年は私も歌わないかとお誘いを頂きました。皆様からは、活気と前へ進む強さを頂いているので、私は音楽を通じて喜びをお返し出来ればと願ってます：）

It has been 3 months since my last visit to the nursing home and I was very happy to see the same smile! My translation work for the Japanese children's songs were played in the last year's Chirstmas party and they offered me to sing for this year. It will be a very special event! They give me vitality and strength to move forward, I wish to give them back happiness through music : )

アンコール小児病院をめぐる写真家たち ～カンボジアの笑顔展～に参加致します

１０月５日〜２９日までJICA横浜１Fギャラリーにて、アンコール小児病院をめぐる写真家たち～カンボジアの笑顔展～が開催されます。
アンコール小児病院は写真家•井津建郎氏が創設なさったということで、多くの写真家が現地を訪れ、それぞれの思いを写真に収めて来ました。
Friends Without A Border Japan主催の今回の展示会は更に多くの方々に、貧困により大切な命を落として行くカンボジアの医療の現場について、そして、そこで生きる人々から教わる命の尊さを伝える事が出来ればとの願いで開催されます。
私も、昨年NYでお手伝いをさせて頂いたFriends Without A Borderのチャリティーオークションをきっかけに、今年アンコール小児病院の１０周年記念式祭典のお手伝いをするためカンボジアを訪れ、現地の人々と交流を持つ大変貴重な経験をさせて頂きました。様々な思いで写真を撮ることが出来、またこの様にして大尊敬する写真家の方々とご一緒に写真を並べさせて頂ける事を大変光栄に思います。素晴らしい経験をさせてくださるFriends Without A Borderの皆様に深く感謝してます。

School of Visual Arts entrance exhibition

My works are displayed inside the show case at the School of Visual Arts entrance hall, 209 E 23rd Street, N.Y. It will be from August 31- September 21 at the entrance and another place in SVA till October 10. My picture is being used for the School of Visual Arts Continuing Education Facebook Profile.
私の作品がSchool of Visual Arts 209 East 23rd Street, N.Y の正面玄関にて８月３１日から９月２１日にて、そして校内の他の場所で１０月１０日迄展示さています。School of Visual Arts Continuing EducationのFacebookのプロフィール写真に、私の写真が使用されています。

I searched my unconsciousness through self-portrait. This is how it sounded like inside my head when working with this body of work.
