明日から始まる展示会の記事が、パリ現地の記事Ovni ParisとZoom Japonにて紹介されました。日本をめぐる写真展として、日仏5人のアーティストの作品が展示されます☆

現在、New York UniversityのITP(Interactive telecomunication)にて勉強中なのですが、日々新しい発見ばかりで、脳内が踊り出す感覚を久しぶりに味わっています。
今週は、World Science Festivalも開催され、 様々な角度から科学•人間、そして文化を考察し、次の時代を展望して行くというとても面白い講演がNYUを始め、Colombia UniversityやThe New Schoolなどの協力のもとNY中で行なわれています。本日私が参加した講演では神経科学者のJohn DonoghuとGary Small、哲学者のLuciano Floridi、ジャーナリストのJohn Hockenberry、MITのRosalind Picardによる、今では切っても切り離せない脳と機械の関係性について、今後の未来を予測しながら本当に楽しい内容のお話を聞かせてくださいました。コンピューターを使用する事で、どの様に脳が変化しつつあるか、そして、新しく発達し始めるInteractiveな関係について哲学的な面からも眺め、私達の脳と機械は今後どの様な関係性を築き上げて行くのか、精神と魂の問題も含めた、大きな世界について考える事が出来ました。コンピューターが感情を持ち出す日も、そんなに遠くない！？この様な分野について勉強する事は、現代人としてのみではなく、先端技術の恩恵を受けて制作をしている身として必然的なものなのかもしれません。今まで制作して来た事がまとまって来た感覚を覚えています。そして、それが何なのか見え始めて来ました。gma☆
