The Coma Cluster

The songs I recorded in Iceland are now available through online.

I am in a band called The coma cluster. I've recorded three songs.

My first track was sent from N.Y. and as we collaborated through online I decided to go to Iceland to meet them.

It was a great experience and I enjoyed recording everyday.

I could not stay for long so the rest was recorded in Japan and again send by an e-mail. It's wonderful how technology connects us together despite the distance.

Most of the songs were maid by improvisation. I hope you'll enjoy the spark of intuition.

I am singing in bambalo, cro magnon, initial protetion.

お台場大観覧車

大好きな友人に会いにお台場へ行って来ました。沢山の勇気をもらい、今後の事を考えるため、帰宅途中に一人でお台場の大観覧車に乗って来ました。風の強い日だった事もあり、頂上はかなり揺れたのですが、不思議とすっきりしました。高い場所に行くと、どうして考えがまとまるのだろう。。

横浜JICAにてカンボジアの笑顔展

写真家•井津建郎氏•藤井秀樹氏•宮本敬文氏•内藤順司氏•太田耕二氏•足立君江氏•小林伸幸氏•居藤彬氏、そして私で開催されているカンボジアの笑顔展が横浜のJICAにて今月２９日まで開催されています。第一線でご活躍なさるプロの写真家の作品が見れる素晴らしい機会です。展示の準備をしている私も、緊張と興奮をしました！会場費は無料です。是非ご観覧ください！

It is a wonderful opportunity to observe the great works of the leading photographers. During the preparation I got excited and nervous! The entrance is free. Please come and see the show!

Art scene today finalist!

私の作品がアート•シーン•トゥデイのファイナリストに選ばれました。展示はオンラインの展示欄で見る事が出来、来月にはカタログが販売されます。また、展示されたら書き込みます。

My work has been selected as a finalist of the Art Scene Today competition. It will be shown in the online exhibition page and the exhibition catalogue will be available for purchase next month. I will write about it again when it is posted.

養護介護施設 Nursing home for the eldery

 

老人介護施設に前回訪れたのが３ヶ月前、また同じ笑顔に会えてとても嬉しかったです。昨年のクリスマス会では、私が訳した日本語の童謡が歌われ、今年は私も歌わないかとお誘いを頂きました。皆様からは、活気と前へ進む強さを頂いているので、私は音楽を通じて喜びをお返し出来ればと願ってます：）

It has been 3 months since my last visit to the nursing home and I was very happy to see the same smile! My translation work for the Japanese children's songs were played in the last year's Chirstmas party and they offered me to sing for this year. It will be a very special event! They give me vitality and strength to move forward, I wish to give them back happiness through music : )

アンコール小児病院をめぐる写真家たち ～カンボジアの笑顔展～に参加致します

１０月５日〜２９日までJICA横浜１Fギャラリーにて、アンコール小児病院をめぐる写真家たち～カンボジアの笑顔展～が開催されます。
アンコール小児病院は写真家•井津建郎氏が創設なさったということで、多くの写真家が現地を訪れ、それぞれの思いを写真に収めて来ました。
Friends Without A Border Japan主催の今回の展示会は更に多くの方々に、貧困により大切な命を落として行くカンボジアの医療の現場について、そして、そこで生きる人々から教わる命の尊さを伝える事が出来ればとの願いで開催されます。
私も、昨年NYでお手伝いをさせて頂いたFriends Without A Borderのチャリティーオークションをきっかけに、今年アンコール小児病院の１０周年記念式祭典のお手伝いをするためカンボジアを訪れ、現地の人々と交流を持つ大変貴重な経験をさせて頂きました。様々な思いで写真を撮ることが出来、またこの様にして大尊敬する写真家の方々とご一緒に写真を並べさせて頂ける事を大変光栄に思います。素晴らしい経験をさせてくださるFriends Without A Borderの皆様に深く感謝してます。
